L'Iranien Hadi Saei a vaincu vendredi son adversaire italien Mauro Sarmiento en finale et remporté la médaille d'or du taekwondo de la catégorie de 80 kg Hommes lors des Jeux olympiques 2008 de Beijing.
L'Américain Steven Lopez et le Chinois Zhu Guo ont gagné la médaille de bronze.
